The term 絶対領域 (Zettai Ryouiki) is loosely translated to Absolute Territory. It is defined as the area of bare skin seen between a skirt and thigh highs.

According to Hatena Diary, the golden ratio for the ultimate zettai ryouiki is 4:1:2.5 (length of skirt : zettai ryouiki : length of socks above knee) and the acceptable margin for error is ±25％.

This blog is set up as a channel for me to express my fanboyism, intense obsession and not-so-critical commentary for all things Japanese. Specifically:- the two dimensional culture of Japan, the Japanese idols culture and all other stuffs that I am curious and I find cool about. However, they are by no means the latest and most up-to-date information. There are certainly much better sources and this site provides only a very personal and independent view.
